Redecorating

I FINALLY finished redecorating my room! 

I am moving out again in the Fall so this was more of a fun summer project to keep me busy, but I am quite pleased with the results! Let me know what you think!

Bad News Bentley

So yesterday I went swimming at Riverside Country Club, and guess who I ran into?

That's right! Bentley from the Bachelorette. 

I was freaking out quite a bit haha. 

He was really very nice and didn't mind taking a picture with a way-too-obsessed fan (me).

 I asked him if a lot of what he said on the show was edited and he laughed and explained that most of what he said in the interviews was cut and re-pieced together and he actually said most of it before he had even met Ashley! 

Turns out I know his aunt really well (who knew?) and I met Cozy too! 

If you look real close, you'll see Cozy on the left side of the pictures. 

I'm so creepy, but if you are a Bachelorette fan you'll understand.

Lady and the Tramp

Beth is getting married next week! (I announced her engagement on this post)

So we threw her a bridal shower, naturally. 

The theme was "Lady and the Tramp" (no, not like the disney movie...)

We played games, ate Cocoa Bean Cupcakes and had quite a marvelous time. 

I can't believe she's actually getting married but I am SO happy for her!

Car Trouble, a Wedding, and a Whole Lotta Sun

You know when nothing is going right? 

Yeah well we had one of those moments on Thursday. 

We were all packed up and ready to head to St. George, but the universe had other plans. 

First of all, as soon as we got on the freeway, they decided to shut the whole thing down because of a car accident.

So we laughed it off as an unfortunate delay in the plans because we figured it couldn't last too long.

About 25 minutes later traffic started moving, but we did not. Because our car battery was dead. 

So Jean Paul whipped out his inhuman strength and pushed the car to the side of the road and we managed to flag down a nice guy to come jump start us. 

We FINALLY we are on our way, when the "service engine" light comes on and the car starts clunking. Yeahhh you usually don't want to hear clunking coming from your car.

So we turn around, head back to Provo and take the car to the mechanic. 

He tells us nothing was wrong (of course) and we eventually are on the road again.

Such. A. Joke. 

However, the rest of the trip was absolute bliss! Marlee's wedding was gorgeous, I went swimming everyday, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

After coming back to a crazy hectic day at work today, I'm debating whether or not to make a trip down there every weekend... :)

 Hayley was a bridesmaid (and sister of the bride) and it was soo lovely to see her! (She's the only brunette in the picture, FYI haha)
