The Maiden Voyage to City Creek:

So for the past few weeks, basically everyone I know has been talking about the new City Creek Mall up in Salt Lake.

*They even have a Tiffany's... ahhh!!*  <---- that's a direct quote FYI

And yes, I was kind of dying to go up there and see it but didn't manage to get around to doing so until this weekend, but it was well worth the wait!
It's beautiful! And so clean. And everyone looks so nice and done up, which goes a long way in my book.

(Have I told you one of my pet peeves is when people are under-dressed for events or activities?
For example, when I go to a play or ballet or opera or something along those lines, and other attendees are in jeans and T-shirts??
Or when you attend a wedding reception and people are once again, in jeans??!
Oooh, it lights me on fire.)

Anyway, my mom, younger sister, and I left around 10 AM and didn't get home until after 6 PM... and we didn't even get to go into all the stores we wanted to! So now we just have to go back up there, right?
:)

I took my camera up with me, but of course the battery decided to die as soon as I wanted to take some pictures. So here's all I managed:

  1. I have the same thing about people underdressing. I hatttte it. My husband use to probably be one that didn't dress up but now he is like me. It's fun to dress up for weddings and stuff. And at my wedding I wanted a more elegant/classic feel so that people wouldn't come in jeans and there were probably only a couple that I saw!! haha.
